EOC TECH CENTER CRRSA ACT STUDENT PORTION REPORTING:

HIGHER EDUCATION EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (HEERF 2) GRANTS

** Updated July 10, 2021 – Second Quarter – Final Report **

Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (EOCTC) has signed and returned, to the U.S. Department of Education (USDE), the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that EOCTC has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act 2021 (CRRSAA) program to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.

The total amount of funds that EOCTC will receive or has received from the U.S. Department of Education (USDE), pursuant to EOCTC’s Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CRRSAA HEERF 2 program: $57,239.00 

The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under the CRRSAA HEERF 2 program as of the date of submission (i.e., as of the initial report and every calendar quarter thereafter):  $57,239.00

The estimated total number of students at EOCTC that are eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students the CRRSAA HEERF 2 program:  68

The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to Students under the CRRSAA HEERF 2 program:  68

The method(s) used by EOCTC to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants, and how much they would receive under the CRRSAA HEERF 2 program: Students were divided into 4 categories based on their eligibility for the Pell Grant and their enrollment status:  Full-time Pell; Half-time Pell; Full-time Non-Pell; Half-time Non-Pell.

Any instructions, directions, or guidance provided by the institution to students concerning the Emergency Financial Aid Grants: Students were sent a notice by email explaining their eligibility for the CRRSAA HEERF 2 student grants.  Each student completed a simple application form in order to establish their need for a student grant and to document their interest in receiving the grant.  There were some students who did not want to receive the student grant.  There were 68 students who turned in the application and received the CRRSAA HEERF 2 student grants.
