EOC TECH CENTER ARP ACT STUDENT PORTION REPORTING:
HIGHER EDUCATION EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND (HEERF 3) GRANTS

Eastern Oklahoma County Technology Center (EOCTC) has signed and returned, to the U.S. Department of Education (USDE), the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that EOCTC has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the American Rescue Plan Act 2021 (ARP) section (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.
The total amount of funds that EOCTC will receive or has received from the U.S. Department of Education (USDE), pursuant to EOCTC’s Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs: Total amount of funds is $398,086.00. Thus, no less than $199,043 (50%) will be disbursed to students.
The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under the ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs as of the date of submission (i.e., as of the initial report and every calendar quarter thereafter): $199,043.00
The estimated total number of students at EOCTC that are eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students the ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs: GROUP 1 included 24 adult students who were enrolled in a career major from July 1, 2020 to December 18, 2020, and who submitted the application form. GROUP 2 included 99 adult students who were enrolled in a career major as of September 3, 2021, and who submitted the application form. GROUP 3 included 89 Spring 2022 adult students enrolled in a career major and who submit the application form.
The total number of students who have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant to Students under the ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs: GROUP 1 was disbursed in July 2021 to 24 students. GROUP 2 was disbursed in October 2021, to 99 students. GROUP 3 was disbursed in March 2022 to 89 students.
The method(s) used by EOCTC to determine which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants, and how much they would receive under the ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs: The student grants will be disbursed using 3 groups:
- GROUP 1: Fall 2020 students who did not receive grants from the CARES Act or CRRSAA (HEERF 2)
- GROUP 2: Adult students enrolled in a career major for Fall 2021
- GROUP 3: Adult students enrolled in a career major for Spring 2022
The estimates of ARP Student Grants ($199,043) allocated to these 3 groups are as follows:
- GROUP 1: $20,430 (disbursement began July 2021)
- GROUP 2: $96,500 (disbursement began October 2021)
- GROUP 3: $82,113 (disbursement began March 2022)
Each group will be divided into the same 4 categories used for CRRSAA HEERF 2 based on their Pell eligibility and enrollment status: Full-time Pell; Half-time Pell; Full-time Non-Pell; Half-time Non-Pell.
