If you are interested in learning more about the course, please click to complete a short interest survey:
Course Description:
Our program is a competency-based program that gives students the education and training to work as a long-term care aide in a variety of health care setting (nursing homes, hospitals and assisted living facilities). EOC Tech’s 106-hour, HYBRID course covers all training and clinical requirements dictated by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Coursework is completed independently online using Canvas and through textbook content with hands-on skills training, lab, review and testing performed in person on a weekly basis. Due to the hybrid, fast-paced structure of the course, weekly attendance is imperative to successfully complete this program, and clinical rotations are mandatory.
This course prepares students to take the state skills and written certification tests for Long-Term Care/CNA. The $595 tuition cost includes BLS CPR certification, tuition and the textbook and workbook for the class. Fees for the state exams may be paid at the time of testing which is after all course work is successfully completed. Students must pass the state clinical examination before they take the state written examination. Two forms of ID are required before taking the examination. Clinical hours, usually on a weekend, are arranged by the instructor at times different from the classroom hours.
