Pathway Description: Custodial Floor Care Technician, Forklift Operator's Assistant, & Building Maintenance Assistant
Custodial Floor Care Technician - This career major will introduce students to the safe practices, tools and equipment, chemical safety and uses and skills required to enter the floor care industry.
Forklift Operator's Assistant - This career major will introduce students to the skills required to operate a forklift. Students will be trained in the safe practices and operations of forklifts and how they are used on ruff terrine and in a warehouse setting.
Building Maintenance Assistant - This career major will introduce students to the skills required as a building maintenance assistant. Students will be trained in the safety practices and use of tools and equipment related to building maintenance. Students will be trained in basic carpentry, HVAC, plumbing, electrical trades and concrete masonry related trades that could be used by a building maintenance assistant.
